What will it take to make you consider your future life?
It is not something to be just thought about for a moment and then forgotten. It is the most important thing that you need to consider.
You need to know why you are here. You need to know what God wants you to do. You have to decide if there is even a God who cares about you. No one has the right to tell you that you must believe, but it is our purpose on this blog to tell you what we believe and encourage you to take a hard look at what you believe. You have every right to believe what you want.
Today I am simply saying that there are significant consequences to the decisions that you make. If you decide that there is no God and there is one, what does that mean? If you decide that there is a God and there isn’t one that is meaningful too.
How about if you decide that there is no hell and there is one? Wow! That’s a biggy. Supposing you decide that there is no heaven and there is one? Those are not decisions to make mistakes about.
We believe that there is evidence of God’s hand in every direction that we look. The flowers of the field, the clouds in the sky, the intricate make-up of man, and so much more cries out—“There is a designer because there is a design.” If there is a designer then it is perfectly reasonable that the designer has revealed Himself and wants you to know who He is.
We believe God has not only revealed Himself in His creation, but that He has also revealed Himself in His Word, the Bible. The Bible explains how man turned his back on God and brought sin into the world. The whole creation demonstrates the result of that sin. Pain, death, and wickedness are the result of sin. The Bible says that everyone has sinned and come short of the glory of God.
God reaches out to all men and wants them to come to Him through Jesus who gave His life that we might have a new life in Him. This would be a great day to trust Christ and prepare yourself for the life that is beyond the grave. That decision also give you a new life to live down here as well.
